Here we are leaving Iqaluit, on our way to Devon Island!

(the Lunar Excursion Module was built on Long Island, NY by Grumman, [not the Chinese restaurant in L.A.] all over the island, so no one could get the "big picture" and to spread the work around to the little guys)
Thanks for the wonderful pictures! I once visited Skaqway, Alaska and always wondered what the "north country" looked like. Many of the Arctic Circle arts come to Skagway before going south. It looks a little like Ramah, Labrador, where the Smithsonian had an archaeological expedition, but alas, lost one of its brave women, perhaps to a polar bear. You be careful, lots more than polar bears to worry about.
Posted by: George Myers at July 23, 2003 12:59 PMAs the General Director for the Mex-LunarHab (MLH) Project and one of the International Directors for the Mex-AreoHab (MAH) Project (the last a Mars simulation habitat; the first both a simulation habitat, intended to be real later), I appreciate very much the entire effort and work being done in Devon Island-- in particular this time regarding Elaine Walker visiting that site.
Elaine is one of our most relevant collaborators for both of these projects. We, in the Mexican Space Society (SEM), take very much into account Elaine's collaboration. She will gain much experience this time than ever before-- experience that she will be sharing with us in the State of Chihuahua as well in the State of Veracruz.
Very nice pictures, Elaine. Keep doing the good work! I wish for you the best in making your musical show and the rest of your work there.
Cheers from Denver!
